The Geography Department of Mahabodhi Mahavidyalaya, Nalanda, is dedicated to the scientific study of the Earth, its environment, and the complex interaction between humans and their surroundings. It offers comprehensive courses in physical geography, human geography, environmental studies, cartography, remote sensing, and GIS. - Opportunities for one-to-one interaction with the faculty members help to create a bond. Apart from the Counselling Cell of the College, the Department also counsel pupils on different issues that they face.
- Creative writing endeavours abound, enriching students' academic experience and preparing them for diverse career paths.
- We believe in Inter Departmental engagement. Faculty from the Department of Sanskrit have taken classes in this Department. It has helped the students in a better understanding of the Indian Classical texts in Translation.The Seminars with the Department of History help in developing perspectives on different Periods of Literature.
